Tea Party

So yes, the title says it all. We went to the tea party on the steps of the Douglas County Court House. The picture above is merely a slight indication of the 1500 plus grass root angry Americans that joined in. 1500 was our guess...

There is Matt, my best friend, closest companion and comrade in arms for all things. He is my better half. We share the same ideas in church, family, and government, and I am so grateful for his example.

We all wore red to symbolize the deficit-and, maybe, to get on camera....

There was a personal appearance from Patrick Henry. He did wonderful even after not giving a public speech for 200 years.
Our little guy. I was off changing Reid's diaper when Matt took this one. Even he could feel the energy in the crowd. It was thrilling to take part in this historical event standing up against this huge government. Practicing my right to do so.

Well there are a couple entries below this one, so check them out if so desired. Take it easy!!

I think it is great that your entire family got out there! There does seem to be a lot of energy going on there. Nice signs.
