Hello family and friends! This has been an awesome year for us and we hope this letter finds you extremely well.
In December of last year Matt began working with TDAmeritrade. In March of this year he became a permanent employee. He has been spending much of his time lately studying for the company’s Series 7 exam which licenses him as a general securities broker. A 70 percent is what is required to pass, and the national average is 73. Matt passed with flying colors and an 88 percent.
Matt’s time is also consumed by the Elder’s Quorum wherein he is a counselor.
Maggie has been keeping busy with Cub Scouts, Primary, doctor appointments and play dates. With the baby due any time now, we are all very, very full of anticipation. Maggie wrote a book for Ezekiel and is waiting for Matt’s impeccable drawing talents for the illustrations. It is entitled “When Mommy went to the Hospital”. It has been a fun family project, that we hope won’t carry over until the baby becomes a middle child.
Ezekiel not only learns something new every day, but he sure teaches us also. The compilation of words he has taken on, still does not outweigh the baby babble he uses, but he makes new strides every week. As of late, he has learned how to jump, but has not yet done it off any furniture or anything. *knock on wood*
Zeke is very into books and a little into drawing. We can prove that by showing you the pen, pencil and highlighter drawings we haven’t yet attempted to remove from the walls. Yes, he takes after me-I guess. He is very active and knows that Mom can’t keep up the whole time. So in taking advantage of that, he can get pretty mischievous. Zeke loves Nursery at church, and enjoys singing and music. He can’t really sing, but should that stop anybody?
Love,
