Bathroom Remodel

Last year Matt began the process of redoing our master bathroom. Here is what it looked like when we moved in in 2010:
Look at cute little three year old Zeke.

Well, things went down from there. As it happens, the tile wasn't sealed correctly and it got more and more wet, leaving the shower inoperable.
So comes the demolition and the putting in of the base of the shower. The blasted drain isn't right in the center of the floor so the base was a pricey specially made item that a plumber put in:

Matt did the wiring. If you see in the first picture, the light switch and outlet are separate. In the rest of the pictures Matt has combined them.

Matt protected the base with a blanket and started the waterproofing process:

Then came the dry wall:

And more waterproofing:

And the tile came on a little at a time:

Now we wait for the plumber to come back and install the shower stuffs:

I made the shower curtain!

We tiled the rest of that wall and put up towel hooks, but I don't have a picture of that and am too lazy to supply one...

The rest of the bathroom will come in due time, but we are happy to have gotten this far! Great job, Matthew!
