Home Improvements

When we remodeled the basement after, what, a year of living here? We got most of the work done. But never put any of the trim around the floors, doors or window. Leaving the basement with unsightly images of unfinished-ness like this:
I know, right?! Look at that unfinished wall! :)

Also causing us to arrange the furniture in ways that caused me personal embarrassment. Oh well. One of the walls Matt put in was void of an outlet. Limiting the ways we could arrange things. Well over the past several weeks Matt has taken care of that. He. Is. Amazing.
So he ripped out the toy room wall to place an outlet near the one pictured:
He then cut a hole for the outlet seen here:

Voila! Finished product and the toy room wall is restored:

But Matt didn't stop there. Introducing trim!

Here are a couple pictures I took real quick to show you what the basement looks like (actually right this very minute. Thank you, Mega Bloks all over the floor...)

So, an outlet, trim, curtain rod/curtains, a replaced wall and door, re-positioned furniture, a TV table and new TV has totally revamped this living space. Great job, Matt!

Looks good! We have to hire out all that kind of work. Glad you have a talented husband! :)
