Well I mentioned a while ago that Matt was looking into other areas within the company that he could transfer to. When he landed an interview, I wanted to write about it in the blog, but he said to wait and see if he got the job. He got it. :) He will start in his new position whenever his current boss doesn't need him. He thinks next Monday will do the trick. He was hoping his boss wouldn't sabotage it so that he could keep Matt (haha), but when his boss said he heard his interview went well, well, Matt got antsy. Today was the latest he'd have to wait before they called him. So a little while ago he called me with the good news.
Maybe now he might simmer down on the ambition for a while (who can stop a man on fire?). The next thing he will shoot for is a test he will take to become more certified and therefore slightly better paid. After that he'll shoot for Marketing. After that it is the moon.
