We Like Free Stuff

Just as the title suggests, we like free stuff. In the colder months we went to Joslyn Art Museum. They have a great kids room. Very cool.

We got the hook up to some freebies to attend the dress rehearsal to a three ring circus over in Council Bluffs. We lost Gwen in the crowd on the way out. That was awful. But thanks to security and good Samaritans, she was returned!

Lauritzen Gardens had free admission until the Corpse Flower (behind Zeke's head) blossomed. That place is beautiful.

The Durham Museum hosted an educators night that I attended. It was a little bit lonely at first, but I made some acquaintances. Bonus is that they didn't seem to mind I homeschooled. Wasn't sure how they'd take that.

Also at the Durham Museum, back in April, was the Nebraska Science Festival. We had never gone, but my friend's kids didn't want to go, and we got in on their tickets. It was fun! Grandma Hovey stayed home with the two youngest.

We have also been to the Children's Museum this month, but I haven't uploaded anything from there yet. In due time!

How Annoying- Yellow Belt and Gender Reveal

I am ANNOYED that this hasn't been blogged. Zeke had tested and earned his yellow belt. A very proud moment.

I am also ANNOYED that this hasn't been blogged! Good grief. For Lena's gender reveal back in December for the kids, we went the balloon route.

Everyone's varying level of enthusiasm.

We had to throw in some pink silly putty. :)

Someone is finally getting a sister!

Birthday Catch Up

Lena and myself on my birthday in May. Best cake ever:

Matthew celebrating his 36th, back in February!

Reid turned eight last December, and had a party with friends. This is the good side of his cake. The cake was in the fridge, where the two year old decided he was going to test it for poison, or something...

Luke turned four in December! He wanted Captain America. He GOT Captain America!

Dean turned two in November!

This is giving an massive sweet tooth.

Cub Scouts

I will not apologize for falling off the blogging wagon... But I really am sorry...

In the next couple of months this family will have a Wolf Scout and an Arrow of Light recipient!
